Thai Ambassador to Australia encouraged Australian companies to invest in Thailand

On 25 August 2021, H.E. Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Commonwealth of Australia gave opening remarks at “Why Thailand: Growth Opportunities for Australian Business in the heart of ASEAN” webinar, organized by the Board of Investment (BOI)’s Australia Office (Sydney)

In her remarks, Ambassador Busadee highlighted the Royal Thai government’s commitment to the post-COVID economic recovery process and reassured that Thailand remains a business-friendly investment destination in Southeast Asia, In addition, she focussed on Thailand’s future direction on the digital economy and the Bio – Circular – Green Economy Model, where Australian investors are well-known for their expertise and strength, for possible future collaboration.

Other notable speakers at this webinar included Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Deputy Secretary-General, Thailand Board of Investment; Mr. Douglas Blunt, President, Australia Thailand Business Council; Mr. Brendan Cunningham, Executive Director, AustCham Thailand and Mr. Stuart Shaw, Chief Marketing Officer Indochina,DB Results Company. This webinar was attended by around 100 businessmen from Australia.
