The Royal Thai Embassy Canberra welcomed a delegation of Thai Members of Parliament

 

On 27 March 2024, H.E. Ms Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand, together with Heads of Team Thailand agencies, hosted dinner at the Thai Residence in honour of a delegation of Thai women Members of Parliament, comprising Ms Rudklao Intawong Suwankiri, Deputy Government Spokesperson, United Thai Nation Party, Ms Khattiya Sawatdiphol, Deputy Secretary-General, Pheu Thai Party, Ms Sirikanya Tansakun, Deputy Leader, Move Forward Party, and Ms Ploythalay Laksameesaengjan, Executive Committee member, Democrat Party.  Both sides exchanged views and discussed developments of Thailand-Australia bilateral relations and ways to promote people-to-people links.

 

The delegation travelled to Australia for a study visit at the invitation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia.  While in Canberra, they visited the Australian Election Commission and the Australian Parliament House as well as met with various Australian Members of Parliament.
