Thailand’s Women Cricket Team in preparation for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020

On 13 December 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra welcomed and hosted lunch for Thailand’s Women Cricket Team and their coaches who have visited Canberra for training sessions and practice matches on 11 – 16 December 2019.

The visit to Canberra is part of a preparation tour for the team’s competition in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020, to be held in various cities in Australia, namely Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Sydney in February – March 2020. This is Thailand’s first ever qualification to the Cricket World Cup.

After the tour in Canberra, the team will visit Brisbane for further training sessions on 16 -21 December 2019.
