Thai National Day 2009
On Monday, 7 December 2009, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted a reception at Sala Thai to celebrate His Majesty the King's Birthday and the Thai National Day.
In the evening, Thai community in Canberra with families and friends gathered at the Embassy to celebrate His Majesty the King's Birthday.
เมื่อวันที่ 7 ธันวาคม 2552 สถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงแคนเบอร์รา ได้จัดงานเลี้่ยงเฉลิมฉลองงานวันชาติ และวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว โดยมีการจุดเทียนชัยถวายพระพร และรับประทานอาหารร่วมกันกับชุมชนชาวไทยในแคนเบอร์รา
Thai Food and Cultural Festival in Canberra
On Sunday the 13th of September 2009, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted the 7th Thai Food and Cultural Festival in Canberra. The Festival boasts its unique Thai experience including the Thai silk exhibition and fashion show "The Romantic Touch of Thai Silk", unforgettable shows and performances, Thai boxing shows, and all the delicious Thai foods. There were more than 15,000 people attending the Festival on the day.
