TOURIST VISA CATEGORIES

 

Passport holders of the following countries/ territory, including Australia, may enter Thailand for tourism purposes with a period of stay to 30 days under the visa exemption scheme.

 

 

Visa on Arrival (VOA)

Passport holders of Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu may enter Thailand and apply for Visa on Arrival (VOA) for tourism purposes with a period of stay to 15 days

 

There are 2 categories of tourist visas:

 

1.TOURIST VISA (TR)

This visa category lets holders visit Thailand for tourism purposes for up to 60 days.

 

2.SPECIAL TOURIST VISA (STV) 

This visa category is only issued to Australian citizens and permanent residents of Australia and allows holders to visit Thailand for tourism purposes for up to 90 days.
