Thai Ambassador met leading private sectors in Western Australia

During her official visit to Western Australia on 16-18 August 2023, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand, met with representatives of leading companies, including  ATCO Group and Fortescue Future Industries, as well as the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).  She discussed during these meetings ways to enhance cooperation on decarbonisation and development of renewable energy which will support energy transition in Thailand and Australia paying the way to the Net Zero target  in the future.

 

In addition, the Thai Ambassador also met with Australia -Thailand Business Council (ATBC) members in WA and Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA (CCIWA) to exchange views on increasing economic engagement between Thailand and Western Australia.
