Team Thailand in Australia and Thailand – Australia – New Zealand Business Chamber discussed ways to promote Thailand – Australia trade and investment

On 10 March 2023, Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with Ms. Wanasri Jotikabukkana, Director of Thai Trade Centre, Sydney, and Ms. Sithee Tanboonteck, Director of Thailand Board of Investment, Sydney, had a video conference meeting with executives of the Thailand – Australia – New Zealand Business Council, led by Dr. Poj Aramwattananont, Vice Chairman of Thai Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Thailand – Australia –  New Zealand Business Chamber; Dr. Chanintr Chalisarapong, Director of Executive Board of Trade of Thailand; and Mr. Viboon Supakarapongkul, Vice-Chairman of Committee on International Trade and Investment Affairs.

Both sides exchanged information and views about the current trade and investment situation between Thailand – Australia. They also discussed ways to further enhance business ties between the two countries, including the promotion of business and investment opportunities for young Thai entrepreneurs and medium-sized enterprises in Australia, the development of Thai products and services to meet international standards, bilateral research and development cooperation, as well as expanding contacts and networking with chambers of commerce and industry and business councils in Australia.
