Reception for the Participants of Responding to Climate Change Challenge Course

On 13 February 2023, H.E. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand hosted a reception  for the participants of the Responding to the Climate Change Challenge Course at Sala Thai Function Hall, Royal Thai Embassy, Canberra.

The Responding to the Climate Change Challenge Course was sponsored by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and organised by the University of Queensland under the Mekong-Australia Partnership (MAP) for Thai mid-career professionals to further enhance their knowledge about climate change adaptation and mitigation. 23 Thai participants from various governmental, academic and civil society institutions were selected to attend the two-weeks course held in Brisbane and Canberra from 6  to 17 February 2023.

Ms. Robyn Mudie, First Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asia Mainland and Regional Division, DFAT, as well as officers from DFAT, the Australian Embassy in Bangkok and the University of Queensland, also attended the function.
