On 10 July 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra welcomed a group of Thai Australia Awards Scholars under the Mekong Australia Partnership (MAP), who were attending the Developmental Leaders Forum 2023, hosted by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs in Bangendore and Canberra.
The MAP scholars, who are currently enrolled in Master’s degree programmes in various fields, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand. The Ambassador discussed with them about the MAP scholarships generally as well as their respective study progress and aspirations. She also extended her well wishes for their successful completion of study and encouraged them to bring back knowledge, experiences and connections gained during their time in Australia to contribute to the development of Thailand.
