Mobile consular service at the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate-General in Melbourne

During 29 February – 3 March 2020, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra organised a mobile consular service unit for the Thai Community at the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate-General in Melbourne. The service included processing applications for e-passports, providing advice and answering enquiries on consular related matters. This mission also provided an opportunity for officers of the Royal Thai Embassy to reach out and meet with the Thai community residing in Melbourne and nearby areas as well as to update on the latest network of communication in case of emergency through an online registration database, https://canberra.thaiembassy.org/thai-registration/.
The Royal Thai Embassy expresses its appreciation to the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate-General in Melbourne, especially Dr. Simon A. Wallace, Honorary Consul-General and his team for the warm hospitality, professional support and appropriate arrangements extended to the team which contributed to the success of the mission in Melbourne.
The next mobile consular service will be held in Adelaide in late April. Further details will be advised in due course.
