H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, presented the Letter of Credence to President of the Republic of Fiji

On 26 September 2023, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, presented the Letter of Credence to H.E. Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere, President of the Republic of Fiji, at the State House, Suva, accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Fiji, with residence in Canberra. On this occasion, the Ambassador reaffirmed her determination to foster Thai-Fijian relations. In discussing possible areas for development cooperation, the President recognized Thailand’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and its possible application to Fiji. Ambassador Arjaree also informed him of the new Thai Government’s commitment to conduct diplomatic relations with a wider international community and promote international cooperation on sustainable development and climate change – the issues which Fiji also places a great importance on.
