H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with Mrs. Hattaya Khusakul, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, met with Professor Craig Jeffrey, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Monash University, at Monash Conference Centre.

On 11 December 2023, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with Mrs. Hattaya Khusakul, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, met with Professor Craig Jeffrey, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Monash University, at Monash Conference Centre. Then, on 12 December 2023, the Ambassador met with Professor Duncan Maskell, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne, and Professor Michael Wesley, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor.

The Ambassador discussed with the executives of both universities about how to promote academic and research cooperation with Thai universities, especially through joint degree and double degree programmes, joint research collaboration, as well as student, faculty and researcher exchanges in the disciplines of mutual interests, such as food security, energy security, and innovation.
