The Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra organised a ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana.

On 2 June 2023, on the Auspicious Occasion of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s Birthday Anniversary, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Srirataban , Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Commonwealth of Australia, presided over a ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion at Dhammadharo Buddhist Temple. Officials of the Embassy and Team Thailand agencies represented in Canberra together with their spouses and members  of the Thai community attended the ceremony.

 

On the same day, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand led officials of the Embassy and Team Thailand agencies represented in Canberra and their spouses, as well as members of the Australia – Thailand Association Incorporated (Canberra) in a community service activity as part of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s initiative to continue, preserve and build upon His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s legacy by doing “good deeds from our hearts”.  The Royal Thai Embassy, together with Dhammadharo Buddhist Temple, Thai agencies represented in Canberra and ATA members donated essential items, such as winter clothes, blankets, household products, foodstuff and toys for children, to St Vincent de Paul Society to distribute to the communities in need. The donated items were presented to Mr. Stuart Davis-Meehan, Director Special Works of the Society joined by Ms. Elushka Scheumann, Senior Events and Fundraising Coordinator.
