Bangkok Dance Academy Dancers and QL2 Paid a Courtesy Call on Ambassador Arjaree

On 15 May 2023, Ms. Navinda Vadtanakovint Pachimsawat, leading choreographer of Bangkok Dance Academy or BDA, along with 8 Thai youth dancers and 3 representatives of QL2 dancing academy based in Canberra, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambasador of Thailand, at the Royal Thai Embassy. The BDA dancers are on a 2-week visit to Canberra to join the QL2’s Quantum Leap as part of its Visiting Dancers Programme offered to the Thai youth dancers. This initiative started in 2003 and reflects the close collaboration between the Thai and Australian dancing academies.
Ambassador Arjaree was briefed about the past activities organized by the two academies and their future plans and welcomed the efforts of BDA and QL2 in working together to provide learning opportunities for youth dancers from the two countries, which have contributed to the development of dancing skills and sharing of thoughts and cultures.
The Thai youth dancers are scheduled to perform on the stage alongside the Australian dancers at Canberra Theatre Center on 18-20 May 2023.
