ASEAN Committee in Canberra calls on the Assistant Minister for Forestry and Fisheries and Assistant Minister for Regional Tourism

On 18 November 2020 H.E. Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, joined the ASEAN Committee in Canberra, comprising ten ASEAN Ambassadors with the Ambassador of Singapore as Chair, in paying a virtual call on the Hon Jonathan Duniam, Assistant Minister for Forestry and Fisheries and Assistant Minister for Regional Tourism. The ACC expressed appreciation to the Hon Jonathan Duniam for the support extended to the communities and students from ASEAN countries during the pandemic. Both sides discussed opportunities on future cooperation and strengthening people-to-people contacts. In addition, they reaffirmed their intention to expand efforts to further strengthen relations between ASEAN and Australia.
