Activities on the auspicious occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day

On 1 December 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy, led by Ms. Thippawan Supamitkitja, Chargé d’ Affaires a.i., Team Thailand in Canberra, Embassy’s officials and staffs as well as the Thai community in Canberra and surrounding suburbs organised the religious ceremony to celebrate the three important and intertwined occasions of 5 December 2019, namely; the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand and Thailand’s Father’s Day at Dhammadharo Temple. On this auspicious occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy also organised a charity event by donating food hampers, toys, daily-use items etc. to people in need and in poverty in Australia through St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn. St Vincent de Paul Society is an international voluntary organization founded in 1833 and has more than 60,000 members and volunteers, who work hard to assist people in need and combat social injustice.
