The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of Thailand paid an Official Visit to Australia

On 16 June 2022, General Warakiat Rattananont, Permanent Secretary for Defence of Thailand, paid an official visit to Australia.  General Warakiat, together with Group Captain Prasertwit Mahakant, Air and Acting Defence Attache called on Mr. Greg Moriarty, Secretary of the Department of Defence and General Angus Campbell, Chief of Defence Force.  Both sides reaffirmed the longstanding Thai-Australian military relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation including joint military exercise, education and training. They also exchanged views on the current regional issues.  On 15 June 2022, HE Ms Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted a dinner in honour of the Thai Permanent Secretary of Defence and his delegation at the Thai Residence.
