Royal Thai Volunteers activity on the auspicious occasions of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s Sixty-Ninth Birthday Anniversary and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother’ s Eighty-Ninth Birthday Anniversary

On 11 August 2021, on the auspicious occasions of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s Sixty-Ninth Birthday Anniversary and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother’s Eighty-Ninth Birthday Anniversary, H.E. Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Commonwealth of Australia led members of Thai agencies represented in Canberra and spouses in a community service activity as part of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s initiative to continue, preserve and build upon His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great’s legacy by doing good deeds.  The Royal Thai Embassy, together with Dhammadharo Buddhist Temple and Thai agencies represented in Canberra donated essential items including winter clothes, blankets, household products, foodstuff to St Vincent de Paul Society/Goulburn to distribute to the ACT Communities in need. The donated items were presented to Mr John Feint, President of St Vincent de Paul Society, and witnessed by Mr. Barnie van Wyk, CEO of the Society.

St Vincent de Paul Society is a charity organisation established since 1833 and currently with more than 60,000 members and volunteers.  The Society aims to assist people in need and combat social injustice across Australia.
