(2) Exempted persons or persons who are specified, permitted or invited by the Prime Minister or Chief Official responsible for remedying the emergency situation to enter into the Kingdom pertaining to necessity

  • Application procedures
    • Upon receiving the approval to enter Thailand by the authorities concerned in Thailand and after the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General receives an instruction from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the applicants are required to submit the following documents to the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General:
  1. A completed on-line Declaration Form together with the following documents:
    • Itinerary during the stay in Thailand; and
    • Details of the meeting, including a list of delegates/persons who will attend the meeting in Thailand.
  2. If the applicant does not have a valid visa, please send the following documents by mail to the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General:
    • A completed visa application form (category: Courtesy Visa);
    • Passport and other supporting documents for visa application; and
    • A registered return envelope to the applicant.
    •  ***If you do not have a valid entry visa to enter the Kingdom of Thailand, you will be deported immediately by the relevant authorities at the Airport without any exception***
    • Before the Royal Thai Embassy or the Royal Thai Consulate-General issues the Certificate of Entry, the applicant must upload confirmed air ticket with proof of payment through the personal link generated by the application (please do not forward the link to other people).
  • At the departure airport and upon entry into Thailand, the approved applicants will be required to present the following documents to the airline check-in staff and concerned authorities upon arrival in Thailand:
  1. Certificate of Entry;
  2. Completed Declaration Form;
  3. A Fit to Fly or Fit to Travel health certificate, issued no more than 72 hours before departure; and
  4. A COVID-Free medical certificate with RT-PCR laboratory result, issued no more than 72 hours before departure.
  • Upon entry into Thailand, the travellers shall strictly comply with public health measures, including the following:
  1. RT-PCR test performed by medical personnel designated by the Thai authorities at the arriving airport;
  2. Limit the movement only to the organised programme;
  3. Use of public transport is not permitted;
  4. Entry into public place is not permitted;
  5. Public health officer and liaison officer from the relevant government agencies will escort the travellers during the entire stay in Thailand.
