On 22 August 2025 at 10.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra organised a merit-making ceremony in remembrance of Thais soldiers and civilians who lost their lives as a result of the border situation between Thailand and Cambodia at Dhammadharo Temple.

On this occasion, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Canberra, together with their spouses, as well as members of the Thai community in Canberra and nearby areas. Venerable Phra Rajasilaporn, Abbot of Wat Dhammadaro, the presiding Sangha, was accompanied by a monastic delegation of 9 monks residing at Wat Dhammadharo.
