On 18 August 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, paid a courtesy call on the Honourable Craig Farrell, MLC, President of the Legislative Council, at the Parliament House of Tasmania. Topics of their conversation over morning tea include political development in Tasmania, cooperation between Thailand and Tasmania, and role of the Thai community in Tasmania. The Ambassador was then given a tour of the Parliament House building. Mrs. Wimalin Beattie, Thai Honorary Consul in Hobart, also joined the program.
