On 8 July 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, chaired the ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC) Meeting, attended by Ambassadors/High Commissioners and representatives from the Embassies/High Commissions of all ASEAN member countries, at the Royal Thai Embassy. The meeting discussed ways and activities to enhance ASEAN-Australia relations, including increasing economic engagement and cooperation in education, research, and innovation development, as well as to foster closer ties among the ASEAN diplomatic community in Canberra and promote ASEAN awareness in Australia.

Thailand will serve as the rotating ACC chairmanship from July to December 2025.
