On 15 October 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, hosted a dinner for the delegation from the ASEAN University Network (AUN) Secretariat, led by Associate Professor Dr. Thanaphan Laiprakobsub, AUN Executive Director, together with Mr. Michael Fay, Special Advisor to the AUN Executive Director, during their visit to Canberra to attend the Australian International Education Conference 2025. They exchanged views on educational cooperation, including student exchanges and research collaboration, between Thailand and Australia, as well as between ASEAN and Australia, and discussed how to foster these links. The Ambassador also welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the AUN Secretariat and Universities Australia, which would contribute to further collaboration and exchanges.
