On 16 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organised a volunteer community service activity inspired by the Royal Initiative, on the occasions of Nawamindra Maharaj Day to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and King Chulalongkorn Day or Piya Maharaj Day to commemorate the passing of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn The Great, at Dhammadharo Temple, Canberra.
 
H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand, together with Heads and officials of Team Thailand Agencies in Canberra and their spouses together with President and members of the Australia-Thailand Association Canberra (ATA) and the Thai Community of the ACT (TCTA), as well as others in the Thai community in Canberra and nearby areas, helped setting up tents, cleaning and arranging tables and chairs, and clearing some areas in preparation for the Royal Kathina Ceremony, which later took place on Sunday, 19 October 2025, at Dhammadharo Temple.
