On 11 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra participated in the Windows to the World Activation at Floriade 2025, held at the Commonwealth Park in Canberra. The event was part of Floriade, the city’s largest and most famous annual spring flower festival, which attracts a large number of visitors each year.

The Embassy’s booth showcased a display of fruit and vegetable carvings and provided traditional Thai costumes for visitors to wear and take photos as souvenirs. The booth received great interest from visitors and also served as an opportunity to enhance public knowledge and awareness of Thailand.

The Windows to the World is organised every 2 years by the Government of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) during the Floriade. It provides an opportunity for embassies based in Canberra to showcase their countries to help promote cultural awareness and foster mutual understanding between peoples. The event also showcases the multiculturalism and harmonious coexistence within Australian society.
