On 10 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with Mr. Naruchai Ninnad, Consul General of Thailand in Sydney, and members of Team Thailand agencies in Canberra and Sydney, visited the Thailand Pavilion and met with Thai businesses showcasing their products at Fine Food Australia 2025, held from 8 - 11 September 2025 in Sydney. This year, the Thai Trade Centre Sydney organised the Thailand Pavilion bringing 25 Thai companies to exhibit a diverse range of products, including food, beverages, condiments, and innovative food technologies. The Pavilion also featured Thai cooking demonstrations to showcase the Thai cuisine and explore new export opportunities in the Australian market.

The Ambassador also met the delegation from the Agricultural Research Development Agency (ARDA), led by Mr. Chavalit Chookajorn, Chairman of Board Committees of ARDA, who attended the event, and exchanged views on promotion of agricultural research to enhance Thailand’s agrifood sector as well as opportunities to expand cooperation in this field between Thailand and Australia.

Fine Food Australia is one of the country’s largest annual food and beverage exhibitions, drawing exhibitors and professionals from across the world. The event showcases an extensive variety of products, from ingredients and ready-to-eat food to beverages, packaging, manufacturing technologies, and related services. Thai exhibitors this year highlighted both traditional Thai products and contemporary innovations such as health-focused foods and value-added processed products, reflecting Thailand’s growing role as a leading food supplier to the world.
