On 16 September 2025 at 10.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra organised a ceremony to commemorate the Auspicious Occasion of the 100th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol on 20 September 2025 at Dhammadharo Temple.

On this occasion, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Canberra, together with their spouses, aswell as members of the Thai community in Canberra and nearby areas. Venerable Phra Rajasilaporn, Abbot of Wat Dhammadaro, the presiding Sangha, was accompanied by a monastic delegation, totalling 9 monks residing at Wat Dhammadharo.
