On 21 February 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, along with Mrs. Chearanai Tina Field, Honorary Consul of Thailand in Brisbane, attended the Breakfast with Honourable Fiona Simpson MP, Minister for Women and Women’s Economic Security, Minister for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Minister for Multiculturalism, hosted by Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (ECCQ) at Queensland Parliament House. The event provided opportunity for attendees, which included members of Queensland Parliament, ECCQ members, members of consular corps in Brisbane, and other stakeholders, to hear from the Minister about the state government’s direction in promoting multiculturalism, as well as to engage and network with one another.
