On 15 August 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, attended the wreath-laying and commemoration at the Last Post Ceremony - 80th Anniversary of the End of the Second World War at the Pool of Reflection, Australian War Memorial in Canberra, together with members of the Diplomatic Corps in Canberra. Group Captain Nawamarat Prapattong, Defence and Air Attaché, was also present at the ceremony.

 

The ceremony was also attended by Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, the Honourable Matt Keogh MP, Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, veterans of the Second World War, as well as representatives from various sectors, who also took part in laying wreaths.
