On 15 August 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, invited Mr. John McCarthy AO and Mr. William (Bill) Paterson PSM, former Ambassadors of Australia to Thailand, for a luncheon at the Thai Residence. They exchanged views about Thailand-Australia relations and how to further enhance bilateral engagement, as well as regional issues and situations of interest. Mr. Rutchabhoom Boonrawd, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, also joined the luncheon.
