Ambassador of Thailand, together with, Minister, Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, RTN, Naval Attache and Assistant Defence Attache, attended the Loy Krathong Celebration at Ping Ping Thai Restaurant in Kambah.

On 16 November 2024, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to the Commonwealth of Australia, together with Mr. Rutchabhoom Boonrawd, Minister,
Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, Captain Chanin Sriyaphai, RTN, Naval Attache and Assistant Defence Attache, attended the Loy Krathong Celebration hosted by Thai Classical Music Club, Canberra at Ping Ping Thai Restaurant in Kambah. Both Thai and Australian participants were treated with authentic Thai food and cultural performances which included Thai classical dance and Thai Classical Music.
There were also Miss and Master Noppamas contests, before participants joined in the Krathong floating. In her remarks, the Ambassador highlighted the significance of the Loy Krathong Festival, which has been inscribed on the National Intangible Cultural Heritag List in domain of Social practices, rituals and festive events since 2011. She also expressed her appreciation to the President and the Club for organizing this event to preserve traditional Thai culture.
