On 27 September 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra participated in the Thai Food Fair, organised by Wat Dhammadharo in Canberra. The Embassy arranged a food stall serving Thai-style chicken rice (Khao Man Gai). H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand, together with Heads and representatives of the Team Thailand agencies in Canberra, also took part in the event, which attracted a large number of Thai and international Buddhists, as well as members of nearby local community.

The Thai Food Fair at Wat Dhammadharo provided an opportunity for the Thai community to offer a variety of Thai dishes and beverages and promote Thai cuisine and food culture to a wider audience, while contributing to strengthening the cordial ties between the Temple, the Thai community and the local community. The proceeds from the event will be donated to Wat Dhammadharo for future Buddhist activities and related maintenance of the temple.
