The Ambassador, along with Mrs. Hattaya Kusakul, Consul-General of Thailand in Sydney, paid a courtesy call on H.E. the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales. Both Sides exchanged views on opportunities for closer cooperation in various areas between Thailand and New South Wales, including trade and investment, digital technology, education, agriculture, and energy transition. They also discussed the role and well-being of Thai community in New South Wales.

 

During this visit, the Ambassador also met with key figures in New South Wales, including the Honourable Jodie Harrison, Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, and Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault; the Honourable Andrew Bell, Chief Justice of New South Wales; the Honourable Natalie Ward MLC, Deputy Leader of the Opposition; and Ms. Rebecca McPhee, Deputy Secretary, Investment NSW.
