On 18 August 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, paid respect to Phra Magha Songkhram, Abbot of Wat Sanggarangsee, Hobart, Tasmania, made offerings to the Buddhist monks at the temple. The Ambassador later met and had dinner with the Thai community in Hobart at Kwanjai Thai Restaurant. Mrs. Wimalin Beattie, Honorary Consul of Thailand in Hobart, also joined these programs.
