On 19 July 2025 Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand, paid respect to Phra Ajarn Bunnam Manapo, Acting Abbot of Wat Pah Abhipunno Sunshine Coast, made offerings to the Buddhist monks at the temple, and met with the Thai community in Sunshine Coast. The Ambassador was also joined by Mrs. Chearanai Tina Field, Thai Honorary Consul in Brisbane.
