On 9 December 2024, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, met with Senator the Hon David Fawcett and with Mr. Steve Georganas MP (Member for Adelaide) in Adelaide to exchange views on various issues of mutual interest, including politics, economy and society, regional issues, as well as opportunities for advancing the Strategic Partnership between Thailand and Australia and strengthening ties between Thailand and South Australia at both the state and people-to-people levels. Both are members of the Australian Parliamentary Friends of Thailand.
