On 31 March 2023, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanban, Ambassador of Thailand, together with Group Captain Prasertwit Mahakant, met with Mr. Greg Moriarty, Secretary of Defense, at the Department of Defense. Both sides welcomed the strong Thailand-Australia bilateral relations, particularly the practical colloboration between respective defense and security agencies. They exchanged views on the current strategic environment and regional issues of mutual interest.  In this regard, Secretary Moriarty also reaffirmed Australia’s commitment to supporting ASEAN centrality to promote peace and stability in the region.
