On 9 April 2025, Her Excellency Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Papua New Guinea, with residence in Canberra, met with Mr. Rio Fiocco, President of Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry (POMCCI), to discuss ways to further enhance trade and investment between Thailand and Papua New Guinea. The Ambassador also visited the office of Homestate Co-operation Limited, an importer and distributor of Thai rice and other agricultural products to Papua New Guinea, where she was warmly welcomed by its founder and president Mr. Paiboon Wetwattana and staff.
