On 17 March 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, met with a number of agencies in South Australia during her visit to Adelaide to follow up on the visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand to South Australia in December 2024.
The Ambassador participated in a roundtable discussion with representatives from relevant South Australian agencies, namely from the Department of Premier and Cabinet SA, Office of Hydrogen Power, Department of State Development, and Lot Fourteen, to exchange views and explore avenues for initiating cooperation in various areas, including renewable energy, collaboration in innovation and startup, and defence technology.
 
The Ambassador also visited the Australian Institute for Machine Learning (AIML) at the University of Adelaide and met with AIML Director, Professor Simon Lucey, to discuss potential collaborations between AIML and institutions in Thailand.
On 18 March 2025, the Ambassador visited the Hydrogen Park at Tonsley Innovation District, operated by the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group, to learn about the process of producing and integrating hydrogen as a component of natural gas usage, which contributes to lowering carbon emissions.
