On 27 February 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, hosted dinner in honour of the Senior Officials from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam, who participated in the Canberra Fellowships Program for Mekong Senior Officials, organised by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia. The Ambassador of the Lao PDR, the Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Royal Cambodian Embassy and Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Viet Nam, as well as a representative from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade also attended the dinner.

The Canberra Fellowships Program for Mekong Senior Officials was part of the Mekong-Australia Partnership (currently in its second phase: 2025-2029). It provided a platform for the participants to connect with Australian counterparts and explore shared priorities that would benefit both Australia and the Mekong sub-region. Ms. Rujikorn Saengchantr, Director-General, Department of International Economic Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, represented Thailand in the program.
