On 14 March 2026, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand attended a reception marking the 125th anniversary of the establishment of the Australian Army at the Royal Military College Duntroon in Canberra. The event was hosted by Lieutenant General Simon Stuart, Chief of Army, and presided over by Her Excellency the Honourable Ms. Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia. General the Honourable David John Hurley AC CVO DSC (Retd), former Governor‑General, and Mrs. Linda Hurley, as well as Admiral David Johnston, Chief of the Australian Defence Force, also joined the event.
 
Then on 21 March 2026, the Ambassador also attended the Admirals Reception on board H.M.A.S. Canberra at Fleet Base East in Sydney, hosted by Vice Admiral Mark Hammond AO RAN, Chief of Navy, on the occasion of Exercise Kakadu 2026 and the International Fleet Review 2026 (IFR), which also marked the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy. The event was presided over by Her Excellency the Honourable Ms. Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia. Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales, Admiral David Johnston, Chief of the Australian Defence Force as well as the Chiefs of Navy or representatives from all participating IFR nations, totalling 19 countries, also attended the event.
