On 20 February 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, along with a delegation of accelerators from Thai universities and agencies, led by Assoc. Prof. Chaleeda Borompichaichartkul, Acting Deputy Director of Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC), met with representatives from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) led by Mr. Scott Ashton, Director of International Markets. The discussions focused on exploring opportunities to promote trade and investment between Thailand and Queensland, particularly in the areas of startup and innovation business development, and collaborative research. Both sides also exchanged views on the importance of raising awareness about opportunities and capabilities among stakeholders in efforts to enhance partnerships and economic engagement.
