On 23 September 2025, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, together with representatives from the Department of American and South Pacific Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University and Chairman of the Council of University Presidents of Thailand (CUPT), and Assistant Professor Dr. Pomthong Malakul Na Ayudhya, Advisor to the President and Secretary-General of the CUPT, at the Office of the President, Chulalongkorn University. Both sides discussed opportunities to promote cooperation in education, research, and innovation development between Australian and Thai universities, as well as the role of universities in strengthening Thailand-Austtralia relations.
