On 18 September 2025 at 10.00 hrs., the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra organised a volunteer activity to commemorate the Auspicious Occasion of the 100th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol on 20 September 2025.
On this occasion, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, led Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Canberra, together with their spouses and family in cleaning the tiled floor in front of the Sala Thai Function Hall, which had become soiled after the recent Thai Festival.
This volunteer initiative was inspired by His Majesty the King’s Volunteer Project, which encourages all Thais to do volunteering activities that benefit society and communities, instilling the sense of helping others and selflessness among all Thais.
