On 22 October 2026, at 14.00 hrs., H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, presided over a wreath-laying ceremony to commemorate King Chulalongkorn Day, or Piya Maharaj Day, on 23 October 2026, at Sala Thai Function Hall, Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra.

On this occasion, the Ambassador laid a wreath and lit candles and incense before the royal portrait of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn the Great (King Rama V), paying tribute to His Majesty and expressing profound gratitude for His Majesty’s benevolence. The ceremony was attended by Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Canberra, together with their spouses.
