On 3 September 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra welcomed General Narongpan Jitkaewthae, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army, during his official visit to Australia to attend the Chief of Army Symposium in Perth and participate in various engagements with the Australian side, including a bilateral meeting with Lieutenant General Simon Stuart, AO, DSC, Chief of Army of Australia in Canberra. H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand, hosted a dinner in honour of the Army Commander-in-Chief and his delegation at the Thai Residence.

She also exchanged views with the visiting delegation about Thai-Australia relations and military and security cooperation between the two countries.
