On 15 January 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy held a merit-making ceremony on the occasion of  New Year 2025. H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, presided over the merit-making ceremony, alms offering to monks, followed by special Dharmma Sermon by the Abbot of Wat Pa Sunnataram Forest Monastry, Bundanoon, NSW, and the holy water sprinkle by the Abbot of Dhammadharo Temple. Heads and officials of Team Thailand agencies in Australia, together with their spouses and family, and members of the Thai community in Canberra and nearby areas also attended the said ceremony.
