On 9 – 10 July 2024, H.E. the Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, paid a visit to Thailand to strengthen the relationship between Thailand and South Australia.

During the visit, the Governor had discussions with H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She also met with representatives of the Thai public and private sectors, including the Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Culture. Both sides discussed ways to deepen cooperation and exchange of best practices in potential areas, such as trade and investment, green energy transition, food and agriculture including wine making, education, as well as cultural exchanges.
