n 29 August 2023, in marking the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2023, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to Australia, members of Team Thailand agencies represented in Canberra, together with their spouses, as well as the President and members of the Australia – Thailand Association, Canberra and other Thai volunteers, carried out a volunteer community service activity, inspired by the Royal Initiative Volunteer Project, at Dhammadharo Temple in Lyneham, Canberra.

The volunteers did the gardening work including planting and watering trees along the fence of the temple. The activity aimed to improve the overall environment of the temple for Thai and foreign Buddhists to enjoy when visiting the temple.
