On 2 December 2023, H.E. Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, Ambassador of Thailand to the Commonwealth of Australia, together with Mr. Rutchabhoom Boonrawd, Minister, Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra, attended the Loy Krathong Celebration hosted by Thai Classical Music Club, Canberra at Ping Ping restaurant in Kambah. Both Thai and Australian participants were treated with authentic Thai food and cultural performances which included Thai classical dance and Wai Kru Muay Thai demonstration. There were also Miss Noppamas contests, before participants joined in the Krathong floating.
